At Stigman's Mound, the Nimrod faithful were treated to an intriguing
pitcher's duel. Justin Duchscherer(11-6) finally bested his Nimrod
counterpart, Scott Baker(7-10), by the score of 4 to 0.

Nimrod never recovered after Jefferson Park took the lead in the 3rd inning
scoring one runner on 2 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for
Duchscherer and Jefferson Park. That was all the run support Duchscherer
required. Jefferson Park had a total of 8 hits for the game.

Duchscherer got help from Takashi Saito who earned his 18th save. Baker was
given the loss. He allowed 6 hits and 5 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
